Gas saving devices to prevent unproductive gas consumption during work breaks

Art. 5940-W / Art. 5960

Gas economizers are used wherever unproductive gas consumption during work breaks is to be prevented. The investment pays off within a short time in practically all cases, especially, of course, in fixed welding workplaces and in small batch production.

The main advantages of the gas saver

Economy : fuel gas and oxygen are consumed only during the actual welding work
Time saving : The flame does not need to be readjusted after a work interruption
Safety : The torch is kept safe and in accordance with regulations during work interruptions (safety suspension in accordance with the regulations of the German Employer's Liability Insurance Association)
Functionality:
The gas saver consists of a valve block (1) with fuel gas and oxygen supply (2) and discharge lines (3), a pilot flame (5) and a safety bracket (4) to hold the burner. When the burner is placed in the burner holder, the gas supply lines are closed and the burner goes out. When the burner is removed, the fuel gas and oxygen flow is reopened unchanged, so that the burner can be ignited at the pilot flame without having to set the flame again (the gas consumption of the pilot flame is minimal).

Gas savers are primarily suitable for workstation mounting; however, they are also available free-standing mounted on stands.
